You receive your initial or written assessment as a PDF by email – usually within 48 hours (business days), together with the invoice.
To be upfront
Photos show the surface, not the inside of a wall. A remote assessment does not replace an on-site expert report (Gutachten), a measurement or opening up building components. If a reliable answer is only possible on site, I will tell you clearly – and credit the amount you paid towards a site visit in Hamburg.

Questions and answers
Is the remote assessment an expert report (Gutachten)?
No. You receive a professional initial assessment or written assessment based on your photos and information. A formal expert report (Gutachten) requires findings made in person on site.
Are photos really enough?
For an initial assessment, often yes. Hidden damage, for example inside a wall, cannot be seen in photos. If that is the case, I will tell you which measurement or site visit makes sense.
Why a phone call and not a video call?
A phone call is simple and works on any phone, with no tech hassle. You send your photos beforehand, so I have everything in front of me during our call.
Can I show the written assessment to my landlord or contractor?
Yes. It is written factually and without assigning blame. I do not provide legal advice, for example on rent reductions.
How quickly will I hear back?
I usually reply to requests within 24 hours and assess photos within 48 hours (business days). We agree on phone appointments together.
What if the photos are not enough?
I will tell you, and you decide. Within 30 days, the amount you paid is credited towards a larger package or a site visit.
How do I pay?
You receive an invoice at the agreed fixed price. No VAT charged pursuant to § 19 UStG (small business).
Do I have a right of withdrawal?
As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. If you expressly ask me to start immediately, it expires once the service has been fully performed.
Do you work across Germany?
Yes – via photos and phone anywhere in Germany. Site visits in Hamburg and the surrounding area.
Which languages do you consult in?
Consultations are held in German or Persian (Farsi), and written assessments are provided in German. Along the way, I explain the key German building terms clearly, so you know exactly what they mean.
